We contracted Standard Heritage shortly after buying a Grade II Listed cottage right down on the harbour.
Being a timber-framed building directly exposed to the elements, it needs a high level of knowledge and expertise to maintain – which is exactly what Standard Heritage provide. Michael (principal surveyor) is very reliable and has great passion for his work, a real depth of knowledge in his subject and huge respect for the buildings that he works to maintain. Through his very thorough surveys, Michael has provided invaluable insights and recommendations during our time in the cottage – we feel very lucky to have found somebody that we can trust to give our historic building the attention and care that it deserves.
